  • Club meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce. The club has two repeaters. 443.700+ (77Hz pl) and 224.54- (77Hz pl) Both are W4TIY. Feel free to use these repeaters any time you are in the Paulding County area. The club also operates a 10 meter beacon at 28.272.

PAULDING - Join us for our second annual Casino Night. Last year was a great success and we hope that this year will top that! Patrick's Day so plan on coming out for a great night. We are working with UltraSound to provide our gaming tables.

The OSU Extension building was decorated in the style of the Irish on Friday night March 17th. The dinner began with a lovely spread of hors d’oeurves and sliders to please the palate and break the ice for an evening of the business owners who support the Paulding

Chamber of Commerce and Paulding County. While guests were relishing in the tasty cuisine of the evening, officers of the Chamber presented awards to several worthy businesses and individuals serving Paulding and surrounding community. The party was festive… and at times rather boisterous! Attendees were vying for the coveted tickets that were used to participate in a drawing for some of the many prizes that had been donated by Chamber members. The prizes included 3 month membership to the PCH fitness center, free radio spots with WMYW, 4KD Crick mug club membership, two tickets to see Hit Men at the Niswonger, Paulding Auto Group oil change, Hartzog Lumber gift certificate, Past Time Cafe gift certificate, Paulding Senior Center gift basket, Subway gift card, Cooper Farms gift basket, gift cards & free ice cream cake from Dairy Queen and Paulding Ace Hardware Tool set and rental — oh and did I mention somebody

won a wallet full of money from Baughman Tile?! Lucky winners there! In the silent auction there were two exciting items to be won — a Vera Bradley weekender set and a membership to Eagle Rock and AuGlaize Golf Courses. Eric Baughman won the Vera Bradley bags and Rick Greer won the Golf membership. Sponsors of the evening were Cooper Farms, First Federal Bank, Sweetwater Chophouse, Natural Design & Graphics, and Solid Ground, LLC.

Paulding County Sheriff's Office Explorers

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Explorer program provides a community service organization for anyone between the ages of 14 to 21 interested in a law enforcement career and to allow young men and women to better understand the role of law enforcement in today's society. The Explorer Post also provides members with training and experience in leadership, teamwork and positive self-confidence. By identifying interested youth and exposing them to law enforcement, the Explorers Post is used to attract possible future deputies.

Meeting Times

Meetings are held every Thursday night from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Paulding County Sheriff's Office Training Center. The Training Center is located 284 Dallas Industrial Drive Dallas, GA 30132. These meetings consist of both classroom learning and practical exercises that allows Explorers to work hand in hand with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.

The explorers program relies mainly on donations and fundraisers to fund the program. The explorers have assisted the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office with events such as Law Enforcement Awareness Day, Trick or Treat Village, and other community events.
